In an educational process, teachers are one of the most important components besides other components, such as objectives, curriculum, methods, facilities and infrastructure, environment and evaluation. Teachers also play an important role in relation to the curriculum, because teachers are the ones who are directly in contact with students. Basically, the function and important role of teachers in the teaching and learning process is as a director of learning. This means that every teacher is expected to be good at directing student learning activities in order to achieve learning success as determined in the teaching and learning process.
Teachers as formal educators in schools have a very important role in determining the quantity and quality of teaching in schools. In addition, teachers also bear very heavy duties and responsibilities, especially religious teachers in teaching their fields of study, because religious teachers in teaching not only teach but also must carry out education and coaching. Therefore, teachers are required to prepare themselves to have good teaching skills and quality.
In discussing this thesis, the author uses a qualitative method, namely observing and researching and observing all forms of learning implementation in schools. To determine the influence between the quality of religious teacher teaching and student learning achievement, the author uses descriptive correlation analysis techniques, which aim to describe data, analyze and interpret data obtained from respondents.
