IMPLEMENTASI BERMAIN EKSPLORASI DALAM MENGEMBANGKAN KREATIVITAS ANAK USIA 5-6 TAHUN DI TK TUNAS HARAPAN KECAMATAM MERBAU MATARAM LAMPUNG SELATAN

Exploratory play is exploring the field with the aim of gaining more knowledge, especially of the natural resources found in that place. Exploration can also be said to be an activity to gain new experiences and new situations. Exploration can provide opportunities for children to see, understand, feel, and ultimately create something that interests them. The formulation of the problem in this research is "How to implement exploratory play in developing the creativity of children aged 5-6 years at Tunas Harapan Kindergarten Merbau Mataram". The aim of this research is to determine the implementation of exploratory play in developing children's creativity. This research uses a qualitative descriptive type of research, which aims to objectively describe the conditions at the research site using a series of words or sentences, with the research subjects being 1 teacher and 15 children at the Tunas Harapan Merbau Kindergarten, Mataram, South Lampung. The data collection tools that the author uses are observation, interviews and documentation. Based on the research, the author can conclude that teachers have implemented steps in children's exploration activities in accordance with the theory they understand, and from the steps in exploratory play activities using used newspapers as media in developing the creativity of children aged 5-6 years at Tunas Harpan Kindergarten Merbau Mataram South Lampung said that there were several steps that were not used when conducting pre-research, but after the author carried out the research, he succeeded in using the steps for exploratory play with used newspaper media in developing creativity, although sometimes there was one step that was not used. However, the researchers got a good result even though the results were that 60% of the children developed as expected. And the steps above are in accordance with the indicators for achieving the creative development of children aged 5-6 years as stated by Luluk Asmawati in planning PAUD learning.
