This study aims to provide a comprehensive review of the implementation of the 21st century skills-based learning model in English language teaching. The 21st century skills, including critical thinking, collaboration, communication, and creativity, have become increasingly crucial in preparing students to thrive in the modern world. This review synthesizes existing literature to examine the strategies, challenges, and impacts associated with integrating these skills into English language teaching. The review identifies several key strategies employed by educators to incorporate 21st century skills into English language instruction. These strategies include project-based learning, collaborative learning, problem-based learning, and the integration of technology. Additionally, the review highlights the challenges faced by teachers in implementing these strategies, such as time constraints, lack of curriculum support, and limited technological readiness in schools. Furthermore, the review discusses the positive impacts of implementing the 21st century skills-based learning model in English language teaching. Students are reported to exhibit higher levels of engagement, improved critical thinking abilities, and enhanced confidence in communicating in English as a result of this approach. In conclusion, the review underscores the importance of integrating 21st century skills into English language teaching to meet the evolving needs of students in the modern era. Despite the challenges encountered by educators, the positive impacts of this approach on student learning outcomes highlight its significance in fostering comprehensive language proficiency and preparing students for success in an increasingly globalized and digitalized world
