Abstract

The aim of this research is to describe improving student learning outcomes in social studies subjects through the application of active, innovative, creative, effective and fun learning models in class VI Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Miftahul HudA. The approach used is a qualitative approach. The type of research used is classroom action research. The focus of this research is focused on two aspects, namely (1) Active, innovative, creative, effective and fun learning models. (2) Student learning outcomes in Fiqh subjects. Subjects are teachers and students. This classroom action research consists of two cycles. Data collection techniques are obtained through observation, tests and documentation. Data analysis techniques are processed through qualitative and quantitative approaches. Teacher teaching activities and student learning increased from cycle I to cycle II. The teacher's teaching activities in cycle I were in the poor category and in cycle II were in the very good category. Student learning activities in cycle I were in the poor category, increasing in cycle II to good category. Student learning outcomes in cycle I were in the medium category and increased to high category in cycle II. It can be concluded that the application of the active, innovative, creative, effective and fun learning model (PAIKEM) can improve student learning achievement in fiqh subjects in class VI Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Miftahul Huda.
