Abstract

The digital era has demanded the world of
education to be able to adapt quickly where all information
can be obtained in real-time and quickly anywhere and
anytime, with the advancement of science and technology
requires teachers to have the ability to understand the
digital world in order to create a good learning atmosphere
and can encourage the ability and creativity of students to
the maximum. Digital literacy is one of the basic literacy
that has now become a necessity in teaching and learning
activities as a source of finding references, identifying,
accessing, evaluating, and combining information in
teaching and learning activities. The ease of accessing
various information needs to be addressed carefully by an
educator by increasing digital literacy competence to
create a community order with a critical and creative
mindset and outlook.
This study aims to (1) find out how digital literacy in
Islamic religious education learning at SMKN 3 Metro (2)
to analyze and describe the understanding of strategies for
increasing digital literacy skills in learning Islamic
religious education at SMKN 3 Metro (3) to find out the
supporting and inhibiting factors for strategies to increase
digital literacy in learning Islamic religious education at
SMKN 3 Metro.
This study uses a qualitative approach that is descriptive to
describe strategies for increasing digital literacy
competence in learning Islamic religious education, in data
collection, researchers use observation, interview and
documentation methods. Meanwhile, the guarantor of data
validity uses the process of data reduction, data
presentation and conclusion drawing
