HUBUNGAN ANTARA GAYA KEPIMPINAN KEPALA SEKOLAH DENGAN KINERJA GURU DI MTs NEGERI 1 LAMPUNG TIMUR

Abstract

The important role of leadership style is one of the
supporters for performance to run effectively. Leadership
style is the way that the head of a madrassa/school uses to
influence the behavior of his followers. Leadership style is
needed to regulate and change one's behavior to act
according to the direction of the leader. A leadership style
that is in accordance with the conditions will be very
helpful in overcoming problems and especially problems
related to subordinates or employees. Therefore, the
situation in determining and determining the leadership
style in accordance with the problems faced, especially in
improving teacher work in a school institution is important
to see the situation where the leadership takes place. The
leadership role in a school is fully held by the principal
who is appointed by the government or foundation.
This study aims to determine the relationship between the
principal's leadership style and teacher performance in
MTs Negeri 1 East Lampung. This study used
questionnaire and documentation data collection
techniques. The distribution of questionnaires was given to
all MTs Negeri 1 East Lampung teacher councils to find
out the leadership style of the principal. The nature of this
study is correlational where research that studies the
relationship of two or more variables
