The Influence Of Learning Styles On Historical Learning Outcomes

Abstract

Maximum learning results are obtained because
of the earnest efforts of students and teachers as educators.
There are two factors that affect student achievement,
namely factors that come from within the students
themselves and factors that come from outside the
students. One of the factors that comes from within is
learning style. The learning style of each individual is
different, some listen, see, and some while moving their
limbs.
The purpose of this study is to determine whether there is
an influence between the learning styles owned by students
and student learning outcomes in the subject of Islamic
Cultural History. This is in the background of teachers
when teaching has not been able to bridge the diversity of
student learning styles, such as the inappropriate methods
and media used by teachers, students learn by reading
notebooks and package books, talking to their friends and
busy playing alone and there are sleepy students. When
discussing groups, there are students who are silent without
wanting to discuss, there are students who talk a lot, some
choose to just write the results of the discussion without
wanting to participate
This study used a data collection technique with
questionnaires, this method is the main method that the
author uses to obtain data on learning styles and uses final
semester exam scores for learning outcome data. The
documentation method in this study is the main method
that the author uses to obtain data on the structure and
history of schools.
From the calculation of the influence between variable X
and variable Y with the number of respondents 42 students,

then 70% sampling was taken with cluster random
sampling techniques, then a sample of 30 students was
obtained, after data analysis based on the person
correlation test and t test, it resulted in a correlation value
of 0.856, it can be said that the results have a positive
relationship value, This means that the more optimal the
learning style, the learning outcomes will be optimal, the
lower the learning style value, the lower the learning
outcomes.
