Abstract

This study aims to describe Entrepreneurship Education in Improving the Independence of Santri at Hidayatul Mubtadiin Islamic Boarding School, Sidoharjo Jati Agung, South Lampung. Background The research stems from a phenomenon that occurs at the Hidayatul Mubtadiin Islamic boarding school, namely because there are some students who are still unemployed, do not take advantage of the opportunities that exist at the Hidayatul Mubtadiin Islamic boarding school so that the character of independence has not been imprinted on the students themselves. Entrepreneurship education can also be used as a benchmark for a student in terms of the independence of the student and can train students to be creative and take advantage of existing opportunities. The Formulation of problem in this study are: 1) How  Entrepreneurship Education in increasing the independence of students at the Hidayatul Mubtadiin Islamic boarding school? 2) How is the application of entrepreneurship education in increasing the independence of students at the Hidayatul Mubtadiin Islamic Boarding School?

The Results of this study are: 1) At The Hidayatul Mubtadiin Islamic Boarding School, students are not only given material but also students must go directly to the field so that students understand how the entrepreneurial process must be carried out and need to be held accountable so that students are ready when there is a problem and there must be a solution or solution, by way of students going directly to the field, the character of independence itself will grow and students can have a sense of responsibility, so that they can become provisions later when they enter the community and can improve the economy of the students themselves. 2) Application of Entrepreneurship Education with efforts to develop the independent character of students, Hidayatul Mubtadiin Islamic Boarding School implements entrepreneurship in its achievements, namely by holding training to provide better insight, there must also be assistance in the entrepreneurship process and conduct evaluations so that they can see whether or not entrepreneurship is developing.
