Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of self-concept on students' religiosity at SMA Swasta Persiapan Stabat in the 2024/2025 academic year. Self-concept refers to how individuals perceive and evaluate themselves, which can influence their attitudes and behaviors in daily life, including religious aspects. Religiosity, in this context, encompasses students' understanding, beliefs, and application of religious values in their lives. This research employs a quantitative method with a correlational approach to determine the relationship between self-concept and religiosity levels. The research sample consists of students selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected using a questionnaire measuring self-concept and religiosity levels and analyzed using simple regression statistical techniques. The results indicate a significant relationship between self-concept and students' religiosity levels. The more positive a student's self-concept, the higher their level of religiosity. Conversely, students with a negative self-concept tend to have lower religiosity levels. These findings affirm that a strong and positive self-concept plays a crucial role in shaping students' religious attitudes. Therefore, it is essential for schools, teachers, and parents to provide support in developing a positive self-concept among students to enhance their religiosity. This study provides insights into the educational field regarding the importance of fostering a good self-concept to support students' spiritual development. Additionally, the findings are expected to serve as a reference for policymakers in designing religious development programs in schools
