ETOS KERJA KEPALA MADRASAH DI MADRASAH ALIYAH GUPPI SRAGI LAMPUNG SELATAN TAHUN 2024/2025
Abstract
This study aims to analyze the work ethic of the head of Madrasah at Madrasah Aliyah GUPPI Sragi, South Lampung, in the 2024/2025 academic year. The work ethic of the Madrasah head is a key factor in determining the success of education administration in the institution. This research employs a qualitative approach using a case study method. Data collection techniques include observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The informants in this study consist of the head of Madrasah, teachers, and educational staff at the institution. The findings indicate that the head of Madrasah at Madrasah Aliyah GUPPI Sragi exhibits a high work ethic, characterized by discipline, responsibility, innovation, and visionary leadership. The head of Madrasah successfully creates a conducive work environment, fosters effective communication with teachers and students, and encourages the improvement of learning quality. Additionally, the head of Madrasah demonstrates a strong dedication to enhancing educational quality through various innovative programs and professional development initiatives for educators. However, the study also identifies several challenges faced by the head of Madrasah, such as limited facilities and resources, as well as difficulties in managing teacher motivation. To address these challenges, support from various stakeholders, including the government, community, and other educational entities, is necessary. Thus, this study affirms that the work ethic of the head of Madrasah plays a crucial role in improving educational quality in Madrasahs. Therefore, effective strategies are required to maintain and enhance the work ethic of Madrasah leaders to achieve better educational goals.
