Abstract
This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Active, Creative, Effective, and Fun Learning (PAKEM) method in improving student achievement at SD Negeri 2 Jambu Ilir, Tanjung Lubuk District, Ogan Komering Ilir (OKI) Regency, in the 2023/2024 academic year. The research method used is classroom action research (CAR) with a qualitative and quantitative approach. This study was conducted in two cycles, each consisting of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection stages. The research data were collected through observations, interviews, learning outcome tests, and documentation. The results indicate that the application of the PAKEM method increases students' active engagement in the learning process. Students became more enthusiastic about learning activities, found it easier to understand the material, and showed significant improvement in their academic performance. The average student scores increased from the pre-cycle to the first cycle and further improved in the second cycle. Furthermore, this method helps teachers create a more interactive and enjoyable learning environment, preventing students from feeling bored or overwhelmed. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that the PAKEM method is an effective approach to enhancing student learning achievement in elementary schools. Therefore, it is recommended that this method be widely implemented in the learning process, especially at the primary education level, to improve the quality of education and student academic outcomes
