STUDI ANALISIS KOMPETENSI PEDAGOGIK GURU PAUD DALAM PROSES PEMBELAJARAN DI TK ISLAM HIDAYATULLAH TULANG BAWANG
Abstract
Pedagogical competence is an essential skill that early childhood education (PAUD) teachers must possess to create an effective and enjoyable learning process. This study aims to analyze the level of pedagogical competence of teachers at TK Islam Hidayatullah Tulang Bawang in various aspects of learning. The research method used is qualitative with a case study approach. Data collection techniques were conducted through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that teachers' understanding of the characteristics of early childhood needs improvement, particularly in adjusting teaching methods to meet the needs and learning styles of the children. Furthermore, lesson planning is still limited to a standard syllabus without significant innovation. The teaching methods used are dominated by lectures and small group discussions, while the use of interactive learning media remains suboptimal. The evaluation of learning also lacks standardized instruments, which hinders systematic monitoring of children's development. Based on these findings, the study recommends improving pedagogical competence through continuous training and providing more interactive learning facilities. Additionally, educational policies need to strengthen teacher training curricula to enhance the quality of teaching in line with the characteristics of early childhood
