Abstract

This article aims to uncover an interdisciplinary approach to islamic education in private Islamic universities. The results showed that a good and comprehensive understanding of the position of the approach in Islamic Education, both in relation to habituation of thinking, writing, speaking and rational and scientific actions as well as in efforts to integrate and/or interconnect science. It is necessary to get used to using an interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary approach in understanding and practicing all issues related to Islamic Education. This approach is expected to be a distingency (privilege, differentiator) compared to the same study program in other universities.
