Abstract

The Madrasah principal as the head of the school ‎has a vital role in the successful implementation of the ‎teaching and learning process. ️ There needs to be a ‎strategy from each section head to improve quality of ‎performance in order to achieve objectives based on ‎consideration of their ability to achieve teaching goals ‎which are proclaimed for students both in increasing ‎knowledge and skills teaching, providing guidance for ‎teachers who have difficulty , increase commitment, ‎ability, and motivation. Because by increasing the ‎ability and work motivation of teachers, the quality of ‎learning can increase. The results of this study found ‎that: the results of data presentation and analysis of ‎data regarding the strategies that were carried out by ‎the madrasa principal to improve teacher performance ‎could be concluded as follows: 1) Providing exemplary ‎examples had been carried out by the madrasa principal ‎well. 2) Placement (assignment) has also been carried ‎out by the head of the madrasa in accordance with the ‎qualifications of "education" and the ability of the ‎teachers. 3) Providing motivation, Regarding "guidance ‎and development, the strategy carried out by the head of ‎the madrasa "is good."‎
