PENINGKATAN HASIL BELAJAR SEJARAH KEBUDAYAAN ISLAM MELALUI MODEL TEAMS GAMES TOURNAMENT (TGT) SISWA KELAS VI MI ISLAMIYAH UJUNG BOM TAHUN AJARAN 2025/2026

Abstrak

This study aims to investigate the implementation of the SAVI (Somatic, Auditory, Visual, Intellectual) approach in improving science learning, specifically on the topic of force, for seventh-grade students at SMP Islam Al-Falah Sumbermulya, Pulau Panggung District, Tanggamus Regency, in the 2025/2026 academic year. The SAVI approach was chosen because it integrates physical activity, auditory engagement, visual stimulation, and intellectual processes, making learning more effective, interactive, and meaningful.

This research employed a classroom action research (CAR) method conducted in two cycles, each consisting of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection stages. The subjects of the study were 28 seventh-grade students. Data were collected through observation, learning outcome tests, and documentation.

The results indicate that the implementation of the SAVI approach successfully increased students’ activeness and understanding of force concepts. This improvement is reflected in the rise of students’ average scores across the cycles. In the pre-cycle, students’ comprehension of the material was still low. After the first cycle, the learning outcomes improved, and a more significant increase occurred in the second cycle, where all students achieved the minimum mastery criteria (KKM).

In conclusion, the SAVI approach is effective in enhancing the quality of science learning, particularly on the topic of force, because it harmoniously integrates movement, auditory processing, visual representation, and intellectual engagement.
