Manajemen Kepala Madrasah Dalam Meningkatkan Disiplin Mengajar Guru PAI di MTs N 2 Lembata

Abstract

This thesis aims to reveal the reality of disciplinary teachers, principal management in improving disciplinary teachers and to reveal disciplinary teachers on teacher performance at MTs N 2 Lembata. This study uses a qualitative approach. Data collection was carried out through interviews, observation and documentation. The research lasted for almost six months involving the head of the madrasa, the deputy head of the madrasa, teachers and students. The results showed that the reality of the discipline of MTs N 2 Lembata teachers in carrying out their assignments was good even though there were still teachers and students who had not applied discipline such as apples, meetings and other activities. Therefore, the madrasa head must organize good management to improve the discipline of teachers and all other school members. School principal management improves teacher discipline planning through discipline, exemplary and performance planning, implementation is carried out through several approaches, namely coaching and monitoring teacher performance, giving motivation and giving awards, evaluation through monitoring the principal to each class to find out the level of attendance, activity and discipline. The implication of discipline on teacher performance is that if the teacher adheres to discipline in carrying out tasks, then performance will increase
