PERAN KEPALA SEKOLAH SEBAGAI MOTIVATOR DALAM MENGELOLA KINERJA GURU PAI TAHUNH AJARAN 2024-2025

This study aims to determine the role of the principal as a motivator in managing the performance of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers at in the 2024/2025 Academic Year. The principal has an important role as an educational leader in creating a conducive work environment and motivating teachers to improve their performance. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that the principal at has carried out his role as a motivator well, including through giving awards, professional development, personal approaches, and support for teacher self-development. The impact can be seen from the increase in work enthusiasm, responsibility, and performance of PAI teachers in carrying out their duties and functions. This study recommends that principals continue to improve motivational strategies to create a more productive and inspiring work atmosphere.
