IMPLEMENTASI KURIKULUM BERBASIS KOMPETENSI TAHUN AJARAN 2004 DALAM PROSES PEMBELAJARAN PENDIDIKAN AGAMA ISLAM DI SEKOLAH DASAR ISLAM TERPADU AL MUHSIN METRO TAHUN AJARAN 2024/2025

Abstrak

This study aims to describe the implementation of the 2004 Competency-Based Curriculum (KBK) in the Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning process at the Al Muhsin Metro Integrated Islamic Elementary School (SDIT) in the 2024/2025 Academic Year. The Competency-Based Curriculum emphasizes the achievement of student competencies as a whole, both in cognitive, affective, and psychomotor aspects. In the context of PAI learning, the KBK is directed at forming the character of students who are faithful, have noble morals, and have a complete understanding of Islamic teachings. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. Data were collected through observation, interviews with PAI teachers, and documentation of learning devices. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of the KBK in PAI learning at SDIT Al Muhsin Metro has been carried out quite well, including learning planning, implementation of learning activities, and evaluation of learning outcomes that refer to competency standards and basic competencies. However, several obstacles were still found, such as limited learning media and the need for ongoing training for teachers.
