PENERAPAN METODE BERMAIN PERAN DALAM MENGEMBANGKAN SIKAP SOSIAL ANAK DI KB TUNAS HARAPAN KECAMATAN MARGA SEKAMPUNG KABUPATEN LAMPUNG TIMUR TAHUN PELAJARAN 2024/2025

Abstract

This study aims to determine the application of the role-playing method in developing children's social attitudes at the Tunas Harapan KB, Marga Sekampung District, East Lampung Regency in the 2024/2025 academic year. The background of this study is based on the importance of developing social attitudes from an early age, considering that early childhood is in the early stages of character formation. The role-playing method was chosen because it can provide children with direct experience in social interaction through situations that resemble real life. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. Data collection techniques are carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation of teachers and students. The results of the study showed that the application of the role-playing method in a structured and consistent manner can improve various aspects of children's social attitudes, such as cooperation, empathy, tolerance, and a sense of responsibility. Children become more active in communicating and are able to adapt to their social environment. In conclusion, the role-playing method is one of the effective learning strategies for developing the social attitudes of early childhood. The application of this method is expected to be used as a reference for educators in improving the quality of learning in the PAUD environment.
