Penerapan Metode Bermain Peran Dalam Mengembangkan Sikap Sosial Anak Usia DiniDi Paud KB Harapan Jaya Kec Sidomulyo Kab Lampung Selatan Th Pelajaran 2024/2025

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of the role-playing method in developing the social attitudes of early childhood students at PAUD KB Harapan Jaya, Sidomulyo District, South Lampung Regency, in the 2024/2025 academic year. Social problems in early childhood, such as difficulty in cooperation, lack of empathy, and a tendency to isolate, are the main concerns in the learning process. The role-playing method was chosen because it allows children to express themselves and interact directly in relevant social contexts. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation involving teachers and students at PAUD KB Harapan Jaya. The results show that the systematic and structured implementation of role-playing can improve children's social attitudes, such as sharing, taking turns, cooperating, and showing empathy. Teachers play an essential role in designing play scenarios, guiding children in performing roles, and evaluating their social development. This method also creates a fun learning atmosphere and encourages children's active participation. In conclusion, the role-playing method is effective in shaping early childhood social attitudes when implemented appropriately according to the characteristics and needs of the children.
