Perkembangan Berbahasa Anak Usia Dini Melalui Metode Bercerita Di Tk Qorrota A'yun Kec.Teluk Betung Timur Bandar Lampung Tahun Pelajaran 2024/2025

Abstrak

Language development in early childhood is a fundamental foundation in shaping children’s communication and learning abilities. Storytelling is an effective approach used to stimulate language development in young children. This study aims to examine the language development of children through storytelling method at TK Qorrota A’yun, Teluk Betung Timur District, Bandar Lampung during the 2024/2025 academic year. This research employs a qualitative descriptive approach. Data were collected through observations, interviews with teachers, and documentation of storytelling activities. The results show that the storytelling method improves children's language skills in vocabulary, grammar, and their ability to understand and convey stories. Children became more active in communication and showed increased creativity in storytelling. Supporting factors include interesting story selection, teachers’ skills in managing activities, and a conducive learning environment. However, some challenges such as limited time and lack of story variation were identified. The study concludes that the storytelling method is effective in developing early childhood language skills at TK Qorrota A’yun, and it is recommended for teachers to optimize this method in the learning process.
