PENGARUH PENERAPAN PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE WORD SQUARE TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR SISWA PADA MATA PELAJARAN IPS KELAS IV MI AL-AZHAR CENTER BATURAJA TAHUN AJARAN 2024/2025

Abstrak

The research method used in this study is a quasi-experimental design with a true experimental design. Sampling was carried out using the Probability Sampling technique, involving 50 students as samples. The first sample consisted of 25 students for the experimental class, and the second sample consisted of 25 students for the control class. The research data were obtained from the results of the pretest and posttest, which were in the form of 20 multiple-choice questions.

Data analysis of the two groups used the t-test with the help of SPSS 20. The results of the data analysis showed that the average value of the social studies learning outcomes of class IV A students taught with the word square learning model was 81.20, and the average value of the social studies learning outcomes of class IV B students given learning with the conventional method was 73.00 with a tcount value <ttable (2.063 <6.718 ≥ 2.063), with a significance level of 0.05 (0.000 <0.05). This shows that there is an influence of the word square learning model on students' social studies learning outcomes.
