PELAKSANAAN SUPERVISI AKADEMIK KEPALA SEKOLAH DALAM MENINGKATKAN KOMPETENSI PROFESIONAL GURU AGAMA ISLAM DI MTs AL MUJAHIDIN GUNUNG BUNGSU KECAMATAN VIII KOTO AMPAR
Abstract
Supervision is a series of activities to help teachers develop their abilities, so in their implementation it is necessary to conduct an assessment of the teacher's abilities first, so that aspects that need to be developed and how to develop them can be determined. The academic supervision of the school principal at Budi Utomo Vocational School is aimed at coaching, aiming at increasing the professional competence of teachers at Budi Utomo Way Jepara Vocational School. The research objective was to determine the implementation of the head's academic supervision at MTs Al Mujahidin Gunung Bungsu. The usefulness of the research is to provide an overview for school principals as supervisors and those who serve as supervisors in carrying out academic supervision of teachers and to help supervisors face difficulties when carrying out academic supervision of teachers. This study uses a qualitative method using 1 principal and 2 teachers as primary data sources, as well as research supporting documents as secondary data. Data collection techniques used interviews, observation and documentation. Data analysis was carried out through data reduction procedures, data presentation, and data verification, then conclusions were drawn.
