IMPLEMENTASI KEPALA SEKOLAH TENTANG KEWAJIBAN MEMBACA AL-QUR’AN DI SDN KEMUKUS

Abstract

The madarasah head's policy regarding the obligation to read the Al-Qur'an started with teachers telling students to read the Al-Qur'an but the students were not yet fluent in reading it and the current trend is about memorizing surahs, they only memorize Al-lkhlas, An-Nas, Al- Fatihah, Al-Falaq.

The research subjects were teachers and students of SDN KEMUKUS from class I to class VI, however only 6 teachers and 12 students were studied. Research sources were taken from observation, interviews and documentation.

The results of the research show that KEMUKUS SDN students are very happy with the policy of reading the Koran by memorizing the letters. The benefits they get include getting rewards and adding memorized letters. This policy also does not interfere with their learning activities. The method used is very fun and guides them, namely the takrir method. The takrir method is a method that is used repeatedly with guidance and supervision from the teacher.
