Abstract

Children's poor motor skills were one of the reasons this research was conducted, and they wanted to know how teachers were trying to improve the fine motor skills of children aged 5-6 years by using collage media. This research procedure uses descriptive analysis with a qualitative approach, involving one class teacher of children aged 5-6 years. The research was conducted at Mutiara Hati Sukamaju Kindergarten. Information collected through interviews, observation and documentation. Information is analyzed qualitatively using information reduction methods, presenting information and drawing conclusions. The results of this research show that the methods tried in the collage activity have been implemented well and can improve the fine motor skills of children aged 5-6 years, however there are still some that have not yet developed. This is the part that is used as a comparison benchmark from other previous studies, where the research results that are often found are that with the use of this collage media, the fine motor skills of children aged 5-6 years can grow optimally. After this research was carried out, there was a need for in-depth teaching intensity for children's motor development at the school.
