This research aims to explore the contribution of Islamic education to the empowerment of women. Using a qualitative research method, including in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and document analysis, respondents consisted of Islamic education teachers, women activists, and community leaders with relevant experience and knowledge. The data were analyzed qualitatively, presenting research findings in a clear and coherent narrative. The results indicate that Islamic education significantly contributes to women's empowerment in various aspects of life. It plays a crucial role in shaping the Islamic identity of women, strengthening their moral foundation, and providing guidance in facing life's challenges. Moreover, Islamic education enhances women's understanding of their roles and positions in society, enabling them to demand their rights as mandated by religious teachings. This is reflected in their active participation in religious, social, and political activities, previously perceived as male-dominated domains. Furthermore, Islamic education instills positive attitudes and values in women, such as respect for knowledge and compassion, fostering their ability to contribute positively to societal development. However, challenges remain, including cultural barriers and gender stereotypes that hinder women's equal access to Islamic education. To maximize the contribution of Islamic education to women's empowerment, concerted efforts are needed from various stakeholders. Governments, educational institutions, communities, and families must work together to create an environment supportive of women's access and participation in Islamic education. Additionally, there is a need to address social and cultural norms that impede women's empowerment, while strengthening collaboration among institutions and organizations to enhance the effectiveness of Islamic education programs. This research underscores the importance of listening to women's voices and experiences in designing and implementing inclusive and relevant Islamic education programs. By actively involving women in the education process, holistic and sustainable solutions can be developed to realize women's empowerment through Islamic educationTop of Form
