This research explores the role of Islamic education in strengthening the identity of Muslim high school students. Through qualitative methods including in-depth interviews, participatory observations, and document analysis, the study examines how Islamic education influences students' perceptions, attitudes, and behaviors regarding their religious identity. The findings reveal that Islamic education significantly contributes to the formation of Muslim students' identity by providing them with a strong foundation in understanding Islamic values, emphasizing religious practices, and fostering a deep understanding of religious teachings. The majority of respondents express that their experiences in Islamic education have helped them comprehend the moral and ethical values of Islam and feel more connected to their Muslim community. Furthermore, the study highlights the crucial role of teachers in Islamic education in shaping students' religious identity. Students who perceive positive relationships with their Islamic teachers tend to have a stronger religious identity. Teachers who deliver engaging, profound, and relevant teachings about Islam play a key role in inspiring students to deepen their understanding of religion and internalize Islamic values in their daily lives. However, the influence of the school and social environment also plays a significant role in shaping students' religious identity. Many students face pressures from peer groups or secular culture dominating their surroundings, which can challenge their religious identity. Despite the strong foundation provided by Islamic education, conflicts between secular values and Islamic values remain a challenge for some students. In conclusion, Islamic education plays a crucial role in strengthening the identity of Muslim high school students. By providing a solid foundation in understanding religion, emphasizing religious practices, and fostering a deep connection with Islamic values, Islamic education serves as a cornerstone in shaping students' religious identity. However, attention to the influence of the school and social environment is essential in creating a supportive environment for Muslim students. Awareness of these influences and efforts to create supportive environments can empower Muslim students to navigate challenges and pressures in modern life with a stronger sense of religious identity
