This study aims to formulate a conceptual framework for ecotheology-based Science Education to address environmental issues integratively. Utilizing a qualitative approach with an integrative literature review method, this study analyzed reputable scientific publications from 2021 to 2025 using documentation, content analysis, and thematic synthesis. Findings demonstrate that science education provides empirical foundations for understanding pollution mechanisms and ecological interconnections. Meanwhile, Islamic ecotheological principles—encompassing khalifah (stewardship), amanah (moral responsibility), and mizan (ecological balance)—offer essential ethical reflections for decision-making. The literature synthesis yielded a five-stage contextual learning model: environmental problem identification, scientific investigation, ecotheological reflection, solution formulation, and ecological action with reflection. This integrative model potentially enhances scientific literacy, ecological reasoning, moral consciousness, and sustainable eco-friendly behavior among students. Although offering strategic theoretical insights, this conceptual framework carries methodological limitations as it lacks direct empirical validation in classroom settings. Consequently, future research is recommended to develop operational instructional tools and empirically test their effectiveness in improving students' critical thinking skills and environmental actions in schools..
2026-06-27T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2026 Anita Anita, Fitriani Fitriani,http://journal.an-nur.ac.id/index.php/jins/article/view/5940ANALISIS KOMPARATIF PENDEKATAN INKUIRI PADA PEMBELAJARAN FISIKA DAN BIOLOGI DASAR: SEBUAH STUDI KEPUSTAKAAN2026-10-10T08:07:45+00:00fuadatun nadzifahfuadatunnadzifah12@gmail.com
The inquiry approach is widely used in science education because it positions learners as active agents in constructing knowledge through questioning, formulating hypotheses, conducting investigations, analyzing evidence, and drawing conclusions. Although various studies demonstrate the positive contribution of inquiry-based learning to learning outcomes, its implementation in Physics and Biology does not always follow the same pattern. This article aims to comparatively analyze the characteristics, modes of implementation, learning outcomes, and challenges associated with the inquiry approach in introductory Physics and Biology education. The study employs an integrative literature review, examining relevant journal articles, meta-analyses, and systematic reviews—primarily from the 2015–2026 period—alongside key foundational sources. The analysis involved thematic identification, information reduction, cross-disciplinary comparison, and interpretive synthesis. The findings indicate that inquiry in both fields supports science process skills, conceptual understanding, critical thinking, and the ability to use evidence. However, the nature of the subject matter leads to different emphases. Physics tends to require measurement, mathematical modeling, the analysis of variable relationships, and the construction of conceptual models; conversely, Biology involves the observation of organisms, interpretation of biological data, classification, investigation of living systems, and reasoning regarding complex and varied phenomena. The literature also reveals that the success of inquiry is heavily influenced by the level of scaffolding and teacher guidance. Thus, the inquiry approach should not be applied as a uniform procedure but rather adapted to the epistemic characteristics of the subject matter, learners' prior knowledge, learning objectives, and the specific learning context.
2026-06-27T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2026 fuadatun nadzifahhttp://journal.an-nur.ac.id/index.php/jins/article/view/5887Navigasi Bioetika Islam Terhadap Teknologi Daging Kultur: Analisis Integratif Potensi Produksi dan Batasan Hukum Syariah2026-10-08T05:08:02+00:00Riandy Pratamayayanpratama147@gmail.com
While cultured meat technology is projected as a solution to the global protein crisis and environmental emissions, its halal status remains a lingering theological debate, particularly within the unique socio-religious context of Indonesia. This study aims to analyze the technical production processes of cultivated meat and examine the Islamic bioethical boundaries of its consumption through an integrative lens. Employing an integrative literature review design, this research synthesizes technical bioprocess data with contemporary Islamic legal frameworks, utilizing the Maqashid Syariah approach and a two-tier analytical model. The results indicate that the production of cultured meat involves complex stages, including cell biopsy, proliferation in bioreactors, and differentiation into muscle fibers,. Ecologically, this technology has the potential to significantly reduce greenhouse gas emissions and land use. However, from an Islamic bioethical perspective, most current halal authorities designate cultured meat as non-halal due to the use of cells from live animals (classified as carrion) and animal-derived serum media such as Fetal Bovine Serum (FBS),,. This study provides a legal resolution, proposing that cultured meat can achieve halal status if donor cells are obtained from Shariah-compliant slaughtered animals and grown in plant-based culture media. These findings serve as a strategic guide for biotechnology-based halal food policies in Indonesia, specifically for regulators such as BPJPH and MUI.
2026-06-27T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2026 Riandy Pratama
