Abstrak

Micro businesses are a business sector that has been proven to play a strategic or important role in overcoming the consequences and impacts of the economic crisis that hit Indonesia in 1997. However, there are still many problems faced by these micro businesses, namely the lack of ability to compete with large producers, difficulty in accessing information. productive resources such as capital and technology, which results in limited ability of micro businesses to develop. Therefore, a method is needed that can empower poor people, and make it easier for poor people to get access to capital to do business. One of them is zakat. Productive zakat is where the zakat funds given are in the form of mustahik business capital to develop their business. The formulation of the problem is how to implement the distribution of productive zakat in the cracker home industry and how to utilize productive zakat in developing the cracker home industry in Sekip Rahayu village, Bumi Waras subdistrict, Bandar Lampung city. The results of the research show that, in implementing the distribution of productive zakat funds by Rumah Zakat through several stages, namely the selection process, business feasibility study, counseling, supervision and evaluation and the utilization of productive zakat in the form of business capital has been quite successful in helping the development of mustahik businesses, seen from the turnover and profits of the beneficiaries. which has increased on average. Turnover up to 37% and profit up to 48%. However, in its implementation there are still several obstacles, such as including business capital assistance to meet consumer and health needs.
