Abstract

Education personnel management is the activity
of managing educational personnel in carrying out tasks
according to their duties and functions in order to run
effectively. Especially in developing educational
personnel to meet the competency standards of education
personnel that have been set by the government. Based on
the results of the presurvey at SMP Al-Huda Jatiagung
South Lampung, there are several indicators that are not
implemented, namely: procurement of employees,
coaching for career paths, and career development
assessments. Thus, the formulation of the problem that the
author raises is how to implement educational personnel
management at SMP AL-Huda Jatiagung South Lampung
and what are the factors inhibiting the management of
educational personnel. This study aims to find out how the
implementation of education personnel management and
to find out the inhibiting factors of education personnel
management at SMP AL- Huda Jatiagung South Lampung.
This research uses the analysis description method with a
qualitative approach. That is an approach that produces in
the form of written or spoken words of people and
observed behaviors. Taking the background of Al-Huda
Jatiagung Junior High School, South Lampung. The
subjects of this study are teachers, principals.
Administration. Data collection is carried out in various
ways including observation, interviews, collection of
documentation, which relates to the object under study.
Then it is analyzed using qualitative descriptive analysis.
The results of this study are expected to be able to provide
knowledge to educational personnel about the importance
of educational personnel management to produce
professional personnel.
