Abstract

Research At Tk Al-Hidayah Sendang Asih, Sendang
District, Lampung Tengah Regency Formulate The Problem Of
Whether There Is An Influence Of Science Activities On Early
Childhood Cognitive Development In Tk Al-Hidayah Sendang
Asih, Sendang District, Lampung Tengah Regency
The research used was quantitative pre-experimental type with
one shot case study design. The subjects of the study numbered
16 children. The data collection method uses a questionnaire
with a Likert scale assessment tool. Data analysis using the
program SPSS 17.0 for Windows.
The method used in this study is qualitative descriptive. The
subjects in this study were students of the kindergarten class
'Darul Ulum who were still in the low category of social ability.
Data collection techniques in this study used interviews,
observation and documentation.
Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the
teacher / model in class B2 uses several stages in the modeling
process including: attention, stimulus, production, motivation
and reinforcement. Through these stages, it turns out to make it
easier for the model / teacher to develop the social development
of B2 children. Modeling techniques in developing students'
social abilities are said to be effective in order to foster, develop
and even improve the quality of students' social abilities.
