Abstract

Pedagogic competence is the ability of science to
educate. In pedagogic competence teachers must be able to
master the characteristics of students, master learning theory and
educational learning principles, be able to develop curriculum,
educational learning activities, develop student potential,
communication with students and teachers are able to assess and
evaluate it. Due to time constraints that are not possible, of the
various aspects that exist in pedagogic competence, the author
only focuses on aspects of curriculum development, assessment
and evaluation. This is the most important point for the author
to know the weaknesses that must be corrected and the extent of
the learning progress that has been realized
This study aims to determine the pedagogical competence of
ECCE teachers in an effort to develop curriculum and evaluation
assessment in learning. The research method used a qualitative
descriptive approach, involving six teachers in three classes.
Data were collected through observation, interviews and
document analysis. Data is analyzed qualitatively using data
reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. The results
showed that the ability of pedagogic competence, especially in
curriculum development, assessment and evaluation of learning,
namely that teachers in the school have been able to apply as
determined by the theory of experts and Indonesian government
regulations. However, there are two teachers out of six teachers
who have not or do not fully master curriculum development
and learning evaluation assessment.
