Abstract

Education is often defined as a human effort to cultivate his
personality in accordance with the values in society and culture. The
education that a person needs is not only general education, but
religious education also has a very important role in human life to
achieve better quality as stated in The Law of the Republic of
Indonesia Number 20 of 2003 concerning the National Education
System Chapter I Article 1, namely: "Education is a conscious and
planned effort to create a learning atmosphere and learning process so
that students actively develop their potential to possess religious
spiritual power, self-control, personality, intelligence, noble character,
as well as the necessary skills of himself, society, nation and state The
development of national education is a joint effort of all components
of the government and society which is carried out in a planned and
systematic manner to realize students actively developing their
potential. Education has a strategic position to improve the quality,
dignity and dignity of every citizen as a dignified and sovereign nation.
Based on the results of the study, it was concluded that the use of the
word square learning model was proven to have an effect in improving
learning outcomes in the experimental class, namely class IV A.
Learning outcomes of students who learned using the word square
learning model were higher, compared to students who learned using
conventional methods.
The results of the calculations carried out with the help of SPSS 20
found out the t value after a paired sample T-test analysis of 6.718.
Then judging from the value of Sig. (2 tailed) of 0.000 and according
to the basis of the decision-making criteria "if the significance value <
0.05 (5%), then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted
