Abstract

Learning motivation is very necessary in learning.
The low learning motivation of grade IV MIN 2 Bandar
Lampung students is influenced by the use of learning
models that do not support student activity during the
learning process. The underlying problem in this study is
whether there is an influence of the cooperative learning
model type Student Facilitator and Explaining on the
learning motivation of Islamic Cultural History students of
class IV MIN 2 Bandar Lampung. Thus this study aims to
determine the effect of the cooperative learning model type
Student Facilitator and Explaining on the motivation to
learn Islamic Cultural History of class IV MIN 2 Bandar
Lampung.
This type of research is experimental research with Quasy
Experimental design. The population of this study were all
students of class IV MIN 2 Bandar Lampung which
consisted of 3 classes. The sample of this research was
class IV B as the experimental class which consisted of 35
students and class IV A as the control class which consisted
of 34 students. Student motivation was measured using a
questionnaire test consisting of 20 statements which were
declared valid and reliable.
Based on the results of the statistical analysis of normality,
homogeneity and t-test, it was concluded that there was an
influence of the Student Facilitator and Explaining type of
cooperative learning model on the motivation to learn
Islamic Cultural History in class IV MIN 2 Bandar
Lampung.
