Abstract

In an effort to pass on moral values through
education, there is a view that education is based on the
assumption that students already have talents, interests,
motivations and values, and the teacher's task is to clear up
the learner's knowledge of these values so that they become
actual in the learner's person. The leader according to
Arabic is the caliph which means the person who is given
Allah SWT the mandate to lead nature, in this case humans
are in charge of maintaining and utilizing the universe
created by Allah SWT. Leaders in Islam must love the
people and stand at the forefront of all matters. Meanwhile,
the people must submit and obey the leader as described in
the prayer. A priest must be in front and the devotee
(ma'mum) follows behind, if the priest is wrong then the
ma'mum has the right to reprimand according to the
ordinance or rules in prayer. The provision of the Qur'an
reading program aims to provide understanding so that
students from an early age learn to have faith and devotion
to Allah SWT, learn to understand and live the Qur'an,
develop students' abilities in reading the Qur'an.
An important thing to consider is also the psychological
development of the child. The stage of intellectual
development of children aged 6-11 years is concrete
operations (pieget), that is, children can think logically
about concrete objects. In this study, the author used a
quantitative approach method. Quantitative methods are
research based on the philosophy of positivism, used to
research on certain populations or samples, data collection
using research instruments, quantitative or statistical data
analysis, with the aim of testing predetermined hypotheses
