Abstract

Learning activities are various kinds of activities
both physical and psychic activities, physical activity is
active students with limbs, making something, playing or
working, while psychic activity is if their mental power
works as much as possible or functions in the framework
of teaching and learning activities. This is very important
because activity largely determines a person's learning
outcomes. This study aims to test the hypothesis of the
relationship between student learning activities and the
learning outcomes of Islamic Religious Education subjects
of grade XI students of SMA Negeri 1 Batanghari in the
2016/2017 academic year.
The research conducted is quantitative research. The
population is 173 students with a sample of 43 students in
grade XI IPS.1 and IPA.3 and the sampling technique uses
stratified sampling. The data collection methods used are
questionnaires, observations, and documentation.
Based on the results of the hypothesis test, a result of 0.719
was obtained using the Product Moment correlation. While
the rtable at a significant level of 5% is 0.308. Thus the rxy
of 0.719 is greater than the rtable. Therefore rxy the
alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted and the hypothesis
(Ho) is rejected. So in conclusion, there is a relationship
between student learning activities and the learning
outcomes of Islamic Religious Education subjects of grade
XI students of SMA Negeri 1 Batanghari for the 2016/2017
academic year
