MANAJERIAL KEPEMIMPINAN LURAH PONDOK PESANTREN HIDAYATUL MUBTADIIN DALAM MENINGKATKAN KEDISIPLINAN SANTRI DESA SIDOHARJO KECAMATAN JATI AGUNG KABUPATEN LAMPUNG SELATAN TAHUN PELAJARAN 2020/2021

The research approach in this study is a type of qualitative research. This study does not have a hypothesis because the goal is to collect data to describe the actual situation in the field, not to test hypotheses that have been made to be rejected or accepted. Based on the research findings: (1) The student discipline education plan outlines the norms that must be obeyed, then communicated to all students to be obeyed and obeyed. Students who violate these norms will receive appropriate punishment/punishment if they do not follow the rules, in order to develop students who are highly disciplined and responsible for their actions. (2) Discipline management has followed all rules and regulations. To organize learning activities, the school prepares an educational calendar which is replaced every year by the school. The arrangement of study times is in accordance with material standards and adapted to the calendar of the Hidayatul Mubtadiin Islamic Boarding School, regional demands, the characteristics of the pesantren in the Hidayatul Mubtadiin Islamic Boarding School environment, the needs of students and the community, as well as government regulations. (3) Even though there are obstacles in managing discipline, there are still students who violate the rules when discipline is applied. Therefore, the solution must be followed up starting from data collection to planning, organizing, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating. After that, management creates something that can be used to modify and improve student discipline management.
